This type of pattern takes its name from the signature check used for blankets at the 18th century horse market in London called ... well Tattersall's. Traditionally associated with country attire in England it has here been given a modern and Italian reinterpretation by Biella fabric weavers Tollegno 1900. A perfect example of the Gagliardi ethos, a fusion of British and Mediterranean styles. The check is distinctive but the brown and blue colouring makes it easy to match with navy, blue, or stone chinos.
