DUTIES & TAXES
Countries outside of the EU will be liable for all import duties, taxes. These will be due at the point of delivery. Please be aware that Bortex does not have any control for any duties and taxes levied by the country your order is being shipped to.
We cannot advise you what the cost will be as these charges can vary according to country. Since these fees are not computed nor applied to orders by Bortex, please contact your local customs office to find out more information if you are unsure of the charges.
Not happy with your purchase? You can choose to either return your item and receive a refund, or exchange your item for an alternative style or size. You can return your item by following the below instructions:
1. Submit returns form via returns portal
2. Await confirmation from our team
Following this you have 2 options to return your order as agreed by yourself and our customer care team:
1. Exchange- Exchange item in any of our Bortex stores or online upon presentation of order details (printed or on your mobile phone).
2. Refund/ Credit note- Pack item for courier pick-up or drop off at our Marsa store.
Ts and Cs for orders placed only on our e-commerce portal:
- You have 14 days from date of purchase to pick-up paid orders from our Marsa store.
- You have 1 week from date of purchase to pick-up cash on delivery orders from our Marsa store.
- You have 1 month from the date of purchase to return your item/s.
- Bortex will not accept any returns on the following categories: masks, underwear, socks and swimwear.
- Items returned must be in a good condition and with original packaging.
- Bortex holds the right to refuse returns/exchanges for items sent back in a used or damaged state.
- Bortex reserves the right to decline exchanges/refunds if an item is not received in good condition or with original packaging.
- Bortex will exchange any items originally received with any manufacturing faults free of charge.
- The customer care team must be notified of any returns via the returns portal.
- Online orders can then be exchanged in any of our stores or online upon presentation of order details (except Mriehel).
- Refunds or credit notes can only be processed online. Refunds are only given for online purchases. *
- Gift receipts cannot be issued for online orders. The same returns process must be followed for items bought as gifts.
*Refunds for exchanged items in-store for lower amounts than originally spent must be processed online.
