Soave and sophisticated

While a Santa suit is a good look for, well, Santa, you might look better in one of our pieces of tailored wear. Office parties are on, family gatherings will be super special this year and meeting up with friends we haven’t seen for a while have more meaning. Make the effort and get out of that loungewear, your mum will be happy.

Suiting doesn’t need to look like work wear; if you buy a 3-piece suit, you can mix and match the elements to make a multitude of outfits. Even as a 3 piece, you can wear it with a plain shirt and a tie or funk it up with a floral shirt and pocket square.

Gagliardi Beige Floral Printed Shirt

Now add a different jacket which can also be a different texture, and see how different it looks? You can use just the waistcoat with a pair of jeans and a collarless shirt (one of my favourite looks) or add the waistcoat to a completely different suit. Wearing a same colour shirt as the jacket also has an effect. Try one of our long sleeve jersey polo shirts in green, blue or sky for a cosier look too.

The only rule I’d say is that the trousers should be the same weight or lighter fabric than your top half. The jacket can change weight and texture as can the waistcoat. You can also play with a roll neck, jersey, or light wool sweater instead of a traditional shirt, and when I say traditional, there are so many colours and styles that the number of outfits you can create really is endless.

Adding one of our evening jackets to a pair of plain trousers has you set for a season of parties. Velvet and brocade add a layer of luxury and have feel appeal. These pieces are investments for all the fun you can have in them! Think winter wedding attire, award ceremonies, premiers, theatre, and work events…
