It really is autumn now, yay! Time to pack away the summer clothing and switch to a layered look. Don’t just stuff your summer things away or you’ll curse yourself next year. Fold and lay flat, if possible, but anything that needs fixing or stain removal is best dealt with now. Your local tailoress is at the ready and the dry cleaners aren’t too busy till duvet season starts. Use these stormy nights to sew buttons back on and put hems up. Don’t make any size alterations though especially if your weight tends to fluctuate. These last couple of years have wreaked havoc on us all!

Elevate your last year’s loungewear look to casual and be able to leave the house in style - these warm layers will also help you keep out the cold. Layer over a gilet for evening before it gets cold enough for a coat. Oh, how I love coat season!
