This showstopping fabric is woven in Italy by Tessitura Attilio Bottinelli using a technique known as jacquard, most often used for silk ties. The location of the mill, in the area of Lake Como, has been the centre of the Italian silk industry since the 15th century and the Bottinelli family have been weavers there since the 1930s. This piece is surely one to wear to a Summer wedding.
